What is a waste heat regeneration dryer? A waste heat regeneration dryer is derived from a low-heat drying device. It is an energy-saving dryer that combines the characteristics of a low-heat dryer with unique advantages. This drying device reasonably utilizes the high-temperature heat of the compressor stage exhaust gas for the thermal regeneration of the adsorbent. No compressed air is used during heating regeneration; compressed air is only consumed during cold air blowing. The regeneration mechanical quantity is far lower than that of non-heat type dryers, and the regeneration power consumption (average saving of 1%~2%) is less.  Waste heat regenerative dryer

  

  It mainly consists of valves, water coolers, oil-water separators, adsorption towers, dust filters, pipelines, and TIT, forming an energy-saving waste heat regenerative air dryer. Two control facilities at the top and bottom of the adsorption tower control gas flow. It can form and switch between the main compressed air path and a small compressed air path, achieving a double-tower alternating work regeneration cycle. This technical solution not only greatly improves the efficiency of the air dryer but also further improves the structure of the air dryer, creating conditions for enterprises to reduce equipment operating costs and improve economic benefits.

  The gas mainly consists of pipelines, valves, water coolers, oil-water separators, adsorption towers, dust filters, and silencers, connecting to the compressed air source pipeline. Thermometers displaying the temperature of the compressed air before and after cooling are installed on the pipelines after the oil-water separator. A pressure gauge is installed on the pipeline at the bottom of the adsorption tower, used to circulate cooling water through the pipeline and the T-type air cooler, and connects to the valve and pipeline at the bottom of the oil-water separator. In addition, in order to facilitate the formation and switching of the large compressed air channel for drying air and the small compressed air channel for regenerating the adsorbent, there are pipelines and valves between the pipelines at the top and bottom of the two adsorption towers.

  What is the working principle of a waste heat regenerative dryer?

  This equipment operates stably and can fully utilize the waste heat of the compressor, eliminating the power consumption of existing external heating drying electric heaters, fans, and steam engines, reducing external heat regeneration and power consumption. If the compressed air exhaust temperature is below 110, a heater can be installed to ensure that the desiccant is not fully dehydrated.

  At present, compressed air equipment is widely used in metallurgy, machinery, light industry, and chemical industries. It is pollution-free, transparent, easy to transport, harmless, flammable, and air compressors use gas pressure as a power source, with great potential for energy saving. However, using single energy-saving technical measures and products often cannot achieve the ideal energy-saving effect.

  Method 1: Add dry hot air to dry the desiccant.

  Method 2: Self-drying, that is, close the discharge valve of the dryer, supply compressed air, adjust the throttle valve, increase the regeneration gas volume, open the dryer switch, and after 40-60 hours of self-drying, the dryer works normally.
