Precision filters, also known as safety filters, are typically made of stainless steel. Different filter cartridges are selected based on different filter media and design processes to meet the requirements of the effluent water quality. They can be used for solid-liquid separation of various suspensions and for filtering pharmaceutical liquids with high filtration accuracy and high environmental requirements. Working principle of precision filters: The precision filter housing is made of stainless steel, and the filter cartridge is a molded PP melt-blown filter cartridge, polypropylene filter cartridge, wound filter cartridge, etc. Under pressure, the original liquid passes through the filter material, the filter residue remains on the filter material, and the filtrate flows out through the filter material, effectively removing impurities, sediments, suspended solids, and bacteria from the water to achieve the purpose of filtration.
Filtering materials of precision filters: The formed filtering materials of precision filters include filter cloth, filter mesh, filter sheet, sintered filter tube, wound filter cartridge, melt-blown filter cartridge, microporous filter cartridge, and multi-functional filter cartridge. Due to the different filtering materials, the filtering pore sizes are also different. Precision filtration is a type of filtration between sand filtration and ultrafiltration, with a pore size generally in the range of 0.01-120 μm.
Filtering materials of the same form are divided into different specifications according to their overall dimensions:
1. PP melt-blown filter cartridge. Melt-blown filter cartridges are widely used in water purification and have outstanding chemical compatibility, suitable for filtering strong acids, strong alkalis, and organic solvents; they have strong dirt-holding capacity, long service life, and low cost. The structural characteristic of PP melt-blown filter cartridges is that the fiber fineness is relatively small, generally less than 10 microns, and most of the fiber fineness is between 1-4 microns.
2. Polypropylene filter cartridge. A polypropylene filter cartridge is a fixed-pore-size deep filter cartridge using ultra-fine polypropylene fiber filter media as the filter medium, with a filtration accuracy range of 0.1 to 60 microns.
3. Wound filter cartridge. Wound cotton filter cartridges can effectively remove suspended solids and particles from liquids, can withstand higher filtration pressures, have large filtration pores on the outside and small filtration pores on the inside, have excellent deep filtration effects, and good compatibility. They have a high filter residue carrying capacity, can be made of various materials, and meet the needs of various liquid filtrations.
