A newly designed, energy-efficient dryer with zero air consumption


With the development of science and technology, compressed air, as a power source, is widely used in many fields such as electricity, textiles, metallurgy, chemical industry, building materials, and machinery manufacturing. Existing zero-air-consumption dryers and drying towers are widely used, but existing adsorption dryer technology is relatively backward, especially the drying tower. With the continuous development of science and technology and industrial needs, the technical requirements of drying towers in zero-air-consumption dryers can reduce gas consumption, save energy and protect the environment, thus meeting market demand and choices.

  With the development of science and technology, compressed air, as a power source, is widely used in many fields such as metallurgy, textiles, power, building materials, chemical industry, and mechanical manufacturing. Existing zero-air-consumption dryers and drying towers are widely used, but existing adsorption dryer technology is relatively backward, especially the drying tower.

  With the continuous development of science and technology and industrial needs, the technical requirements of drying towers in zero-air-consumption dryers can reduce gas consumption, save energy and protect the environment, thus meeting market demand and choices.

  In response to the shortcomings of existing technologies, our technicians have developed and provided a reasonably designed new type of zero-air-consumption dryer. Under the normal operating conditions of other equipment, the drying tower adopts a design with upper and lower baffles and packing, which can ensure fast, low water content, efficient air intake, and moderate temperature, meeting the needs of zero-air-consumption adsorption dryers, suitable for promotion, and highly practical.

  In order to achieve the above objectives, the new zero-air-consumption dryer adopts the following technical scheme: a new type of zero-air-consumption dryer, including a frame, a regeneration tower, a drying tower, a first filter, a second filter, a differential pressure gauge, a pressure reducing valve, a cooler, a gas-water separator, a flow regulating valve, and a heater, installed on the frame in sequence. The lower end of the lower baffle is connected to the bottom of the drying tower, while the upper end is not connected to the top of the drying tower. A filtering device and a heating device are connected between the lower baffle and the upper baffle; an air intake device and an air drying device are provided between the lower baffle and the nearby drying tower body; a heating device is provided between the upper baffle and the nearby drying tower body; and an exhaust pipe is provided at the top of the drying tower body.

  As an optimized technical solution for zero-air-consumption dryers, the air intake device includes an air box penetrating and connecting the lower part of the drying tower body and a connecting pipe connecting the air box, with the outside of the fan connected to the air intake pipe, and the outer end of the connecting pipe connected to the fan. The air drying device includes packing inlets and outlets set on the drying tower body, with drying packing blocks connected between the drying tower body and the lower baffle inside the packing inlets and outlets.

  The filtering device is a lower filter screen and an upper filter screen set between the upper and lower baffles, with the lower filter screen having a mesh number of 50-100 and the upper filter screen having a mesh number of 100-200. The heating device between the lower baffle and the upper baffle has the same structure as the heating device between the upper baffle and the drying tower body; the heating device includes a heating shell and an electric heating wire set inside the heating shell.

  Using the above technical scheme, compared with existing technologies, the new zero-air-consumption dryer has a reasonable design. Under the normal operating conditions of other equipment, the drying tower adopts a design with upper and lower baffles and packing, which can ensure low water content, fast and efficient air intake, and moderate temperature, meeting the needs of zero-air-consumption adsorption dryers, and is highly practical and suitable for promotion.
