How much gas is consumed during the regeneration of an adsorption dryer?
The company mainly operates various compressed air after-treatment equipment, including modular dryers, zero-air-consumption dryers, regenerative blow-air dryers, combined dryers, wholesale combined dryers, waste-heat regenerative dryers, compression heat dryers, adsorption dryers, refrigeration dryers, precision filters, and other equipment.
The adsorption dryer works in a tower adsorption, one tower regeneration form. The regeneration process of a conventional adsorption dryer requires some gas consumption. So, how much gas does an adsorption dryer consume during regeneration?
Generally speaking, all adsorption dryers are energy-consuming equipment. Although compressed air users all list the cost in the form of electricity bills, many users are more concerned about the consumption of compressed air.

The gas consumption of adsorption dryer regeneration is the energy required to maintain the normal operation of the adsorption dryer. The regeneration energy can be all gas compression energy or external heating energy, but its energy carrier is all gas.
Method for replacing the desiccant in a dual-tower adsorption dryer:
1. Each drying tower of the adsorption dryer is equipped with an injection and discharge port. Remove the cover plate on the discharge port.
2. To help the desiccant flow out of the tower, a small rod can be inserted into the discharge port if necessary. Because the desiccant is packaged into the tower, it may interfere with its smooth flow out of the tower.
3. The coarse filter mesh installed on the inlet and outlet pipe joints of the tower is removable on all models. It is recommended to remove and clean these filter meshes when changing the desiccant. The filter mesh can be accessed after removing the upper/lower gas header from the drying tower.
4. After cleaning the coarse filter mesh, reinstall it and plug the discharge port plug.
5. After removing all the injection port plugs, inject the desiccant of the appropriate grade and specification. The height of the desiccant should meet the requirements of the desiccant injection table.
6. Once both towers are filled, plug the plugs of each tower's injection port again.
7. Any joints disturbed during the desiccant replacement process should be leak tested before the dryer can be recommissioned.
