Precautions for using a freeze dryer
Do not place the freeze dryer in a location exposed to direct sunlight, rain, wind, or where the relative humidity exceeds 85%. Avoid placing it in environments with dust, corrosive gases, or flammable gases. Do not place it in a location subject to vibration or where condensation may freeze, posing a risk. Ensure adequate ventilation by avoiding placement too close to walls. If use in a corrosive gas environment is necessary, select a freeze dryer with copper tubing or a stainless steel heat exchanger. Operate the freeze dryer in an environment with a temperature below 40℃.
Refrigerated Air Dryer Instructions for Use
1. Do not place the refrigerated air dryer in a location exposed to direct sunlight, rain, wind, or where the relative humidity exceeds 85%. Do not place it in an environment with dust, corrosive gases, or flammable gases. Do not place it in a location subject to vibration or where condensation may freeze, creating a hazardous situation. Do not place it too close to walls to ensure adequate ventilation. If use in a corrosive gas environment is necessary, a copper tube dryer or a stainless steel heat exchanger dryer should be selected. It should be used in an operating environment below 40℃.
2. Do not incorrectly connect the compressed air inlet. For easy maintenance, a bypass pipe should be installed to ensure sufficient maintenance space. Prevent ambient air from vibrating from the compressor to the dryer. The pipe weight should not be directly added to the refrigerated air dryer. The drain pipe should not be vertical, and it should not be bent or flattened.
3. The power supply voltage fluctuation should be less than ±10%. Install an appropriate capacity ground fault circuit interrupter. Ensure grounding before use. If the inlet product temperature is too high, the ambient temperature is too high (above 40℃), the flow rate exceeds the rated air volume, the voltage fluctuation exceeds ±10%, ventilation is poor (ventilation should be ensured even in winter, otherwise the room temperature may increase), the protection system circuit is activated, the indicator light goes out, and the operation stops.
4. When the air pressure is higher than 0.15mpa, the normally open automatic drain port can be closed. If the dryer drainage is too small, the drain port is open, and air is blown out. If the compressed air environment quality management is poor, such as dust and oil stains, these impurities will adhere to the heat exchanger, reducing its efficiency, and the drainage system is prone to failure. It is recommended to install a filter at the dryer inlet and ensure that the water is drained at least once a day.
5. The ventilation port of the refrigerated air dryer should be vacuumed once a month. Turn on the power supply, and after the operating status is stable, connect the compressed air. After stopping operation, wait at least 3 minutes before restarting. If using an automatic drain pipe, it should be checked regularly. Dust on the condenser should be cleaned frequently. The refrigerant pressure should be checked frequently to determine if there is a refrigerant leak and whether the freezer capacity has changed. Check if the condensate removal temperature is normal.
6. The refrigeration control compressor is the heart of the refrigeration system, with a large amount of exhaust discharged from the exhaust pipe. The function of the condenser is to cool the refrigerant discharged from the refrigerated air dryer from high-pressure superheated refrigerant vapor to liquid refrigerant, and its heat is dissipated through cooling water or cooling air. This allows the refrigeration process to continue.
7. The evaporator is the main heat exchange component of the refrigerated air dryer. The compressed air is forcibly cooled as it passes through the evaporator, and most of the condensation is cooled into liquid water and discharged from the machine, improving the quality of the compressed air. The low-pressure refrigerant liquid is converted into low-pressure refrigerant vapor in the evaporator, and absorbs heat from the surroundings during the phase change process, thereby cooling the compressed air.
8. The thermal expansion valve (capillary) is the throttling mechanism of the refrigerated air dryer refrigeration system. In the cooling dryer, the refrigeration supply of the evaporator and regulator is achieved through the throttling mechanism. The throttling mechanism allows high-temperature, high-pressure liquid to enter the evaporator for refrigeration.
