Combination dryers are drying equipment that organically combines freeze-drying and adsorption drying. Freeze dryers (cold dryers) and adsorption dryers (adsorption dryers) are not simply connected together. Compressed air dryers mainly include two types: freeze type compressed air dryers and adsorption dryers. Among them, cold dryers have the advantages of less weapon loss and low energy consumption, but the dew point temperature is limited. Adsorption dryers have the advantage of low dew point, but the disadvantages are large regenerator loss and high energy consumption.

What is the working principle of a combination dryer?
High-temperature and high-humidity compressed air from the compressor first undergoes heat exchange with dry, low-temperature compressed air in a heat exchanger to lower the temperature, and then enters the evaporator for further cooling by about 2℃. Under this pressure dew point, most of the gas moisture is discharged as liquid water. Then, the compressed air with low humidity enters the adsorption tank for further drying to remove moisture and obtain finished gas with a lower dew point. Then, the low-temperature dry compressed air enters the heat exchanger. While cooling the high-temperature and high-humidity air, its own temperature also increases, preventing external condensation of the water pipe. A small part of the heated compressed air is used for adsorbent regeneration, improving regeneration efficiency and reducing energy consumption.

Compared with ordinary dryers, combination dryers have the following advantages:

The drying process can simultaneously perform operations such as grading and crushing, and promptly cool heat-sensitive materials after drying. (3) The operation is more flexible. According to the specific drying rules of the material, various dryers can be scientifically combined.
The combination of dryers is roughly as follows:
(1) Combination dryers using various drying methods (such as spray-flow dryers, etc.). (2) Film-combined composite dryers with multiple heat transfer processes, such as fluidized bed dryers. (3) Combination of multi-stage homogeneous dryers, such as multi-stage airflow dryers.
