Hot air regenerative dryer: Operating procedure for a hot air regenerative dryer

(1) First, check the dryer for any damage and ensure that all components are present. Observe the equipment installation; its non-verticality should not exceed 1/1000.
(2) Check the wiring of the equipment according to the electrical diagram to see if there is any looseness.
(3) Check if any valve pneumatic tubing is loose or detached, and check if the pressure reducing valve setting is normal (the pressure reducing valve setting for pneumatic butterfly valve equipment is 0.5～0.6Mpa).
(4) Check if the inlet and outlet pipes are reversed. If there is a filter, check if the pre-filter and post-filter models are correctly installed.
2. Start-up preparation for the hot air regenerative dryer
(1) Connect the power cord to the wiring terminal in the electrical box through the inlet hole. Check if the supply voltage is normal. For domestic single-phase power supply, it is 220V/50HZ, and for three-phase power supply, it is 380V/220V/50HZ. The allowable voltage fluctuation range is: long-term operation—rated voltage ±5%, instantaneous allowable operation—rated voltage ±10%, the allowable imbalance range for L1-L2-L3 phase voltages is ±2%, and the allowable fluctuation range for power frequency is rated frequency ±2%.
(2) Parameter settings (Generally, the parameters are set at the factory and do not need to be reset).
3. Start-up procedure for the hot air regenerative dryer
(1) Close the outlet shut-off valve and slowly pressurize the two drying towers to the network pressure.
(2) Check for leaks. The regeneration exhaust valve should be closed at this time.
(3) Press the start button to start the equipment.
(4) The regeneration exhaust valve opens automatically, and one of the two drying towers begins to depressurize.
(5) Allow the regenerative dryer to run for one to two operating cycles before opening the outlet valve.
(6) If excessive dust appears in the finished gas, stop the machine and replace some of the activated alumina.
